Last Chance Stampede and Fair

Nothing says summer like a lively county fair, and nobody does it better than Helena, Montana. The town’s 52nd Annual Last Chance Stampede and Fair is guaranteed to be wilder than any 8-second bull ride! With rodeo action, live music, games, food, and fun, the Last Chance Stampede and Fair is a must-see.

Major musical acts always provide entertainment. Headlining this year’s Wednesday evening concert is Uncle Kracker featuring Craig Campbell, held outdoors in the grandstand! For free amusement, head to the comedy shows and stunt exhibitions scheduled for the event.

Like every standout fair, Last Chance Stampede boasts carnival rides, parades, treats, and exhibits, but there’s a lot more to see and do. Attend the three exciting nights of Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) action for a guaranteed good time. Rodeo entertainment includes mutton bustin’ and wild cow milking, plus a women’s rodeo clinic. And don’t miss clown Gizmo McCracken and Sure Shot Acts Trick Riding; their stunts are performed on horseback at death-defying speeds, complete with dazzling costumes.

Montana’s premier outdoor event facility boasts an air-conditioned, 36,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall that hosts the exhibits, entertainment stage, and commercial vendors. The Last Chance Stampede and Fair offers something fun for everyone and is one extravaganza that you don’t want to miss! Mark you calendars for July 25-29, 2012 at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds.
