Salt Lake City, UT to Yellowstone (Approx. 441 miles)
This great itinerary will take you some of the most diverse country you will see while traveling through Yellowstone Country. From beautiful mountain vistas to rolling sand dunes and huge sagebrush plains, this route definitely has something for everyone. There are two routes through Wyoming to take you into Yellowstone. The first heads through Rock Springs and Pinedale, while the second route goes through Cokeville and Alpine (below). Both routes meet in Jackson and head through Grand Teton National Park and into Yellowstone.
