At the junction of WY highways 14, 16, and 20, Greybull is a great gateway to a Big Horn Mountain Scenic Drive. Many wildlife viewing opportunities and a magnificent desert and mountain panorama are present along WY 14 between the Big Horn Mountains and Greybull.
Dinosaurs lived in the prehistoric red and purple volcanic hills revealed in this landscape. Impressive Shell Canyon, the thundering beauty of Shell Falls, and recreation opportunities in the high-mountain meadows are a few good reasons to travel the Big Horn Scenic Byway east to the crossroads with the Medicine Wheel Passage Scenic Byway, WY 14A, at Burgess Junction. WY 14 east presents a picturesque drive to or from historic Sheridan County and the I-90 corridor. Any memorable northern Big Horn Mountain scenic drives include Greybull, Wyoming.
