Alder Gulch Short Line

Hop on Alder Gulch Short Line’s fully refurbished 1910 Baldwin Steam Locomotive No. 12 from Nevada City to Virginia City, Montana. The train runs every weekend in July and August, plus holidays during the summer. Enjoy Moonlight & Steam specials in June, July, and August. A smaller, gas-powered train operates daily from May 24 to September 1, except when No. 12 is running.
