Fall in Love with the Solitude of Grand Teton National Park as You Float

Solitude Float Trips offers a scenic rafting experience focused on conservation

You could experience the breathtaking beauty of Grand Teton National Park by car, as you take a scenic drive. You could lace up your hiking boots and hit the trails to take in the park’s beauty. Or, you could float down the Snake River with Solitude Float Trips, taking in the majestic peaks and diverse wildlife from a totally unique perspective.

Solitude Float Trips offers two-hour scenic floats through the park, May through September. The Snake River is calm and smooth, so this trip is perfect for everyone from families (with children five years and older) to photographers. You’ll float through dense forests and open meadows as you spot wildlife such as elk and bald eagles, all the while being shadowed by the majestic Teton Range. Away from the crowds at trailheads and picnic areas, you’ll experience the park as one should: in solitude. At the end of your trip you’ll feel refreshed, relaxed and inspired.

The staff at Solitude Float Trips believes that the best way to conserve the Teton wilderness is for people to fall in love with it. Their guides are passionate about the area; it’s ecology, it’s conservation and, of course, it’s rivers. Their goal is to instill in their customers a new appreciation and love for the land and a drive to help protect and conserve it. Your guides will teach you about Jackson’s wildlife, ecology and geology as you make your way down the river.

One of the most incredible parts of a journey down the Snake with Solitude Float Trips is the river itself. In 2009, the Snake River Headwaters became a National Wild and Scenic River. This designation means the Snake’s incredible natural, cultural and recreational values are protected.

Solitude’s two hour tours depart several times a day. Book your float now at grand-teton-scenic-floats.com or call 307-733-2871.
