Go Skiing and Snowboarding Near Yellowstone

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village has 4,139 feet of vertical and 2,500 acres of in-bound skiing, with lots of expert, intermediate, and beginner terrain.

Big Sky Resort, just 44 miles from the Bozeman airport, is home to “America’s Biggest Skiing.” The Big Sky Resort-Moonlight Basin interconnect provides access to more skiable acres than anywhere else in the nation. With a Lone Peak Pass lift ticket, you’ll be able to ski or ride all of it. Enjoy a day skiing one of the country’s longest vertical drops—4,350 feet—and 3,812 acres of in-bounds terrain, including runs that stretch for six miles. Big Sky is also known for its 400 bowls, a summit elevation of more than 11,000 feet, and prolific powder. Open Thanksgiving weekend through mid-March.
