En route from Grand Teton National Park to Yellowstone National Park, stay at the Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch.
As you drive on the John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Memorial Parkway toward Yellowstone National Park, you'll find the Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch. It's just two miles from Yellowstone's South Entrance, giving you great access to the world's first national park. With no Wi-Fi or cell phone service, the lodge is a wonderful place to truly disconnect from the world and reconnect with whomever you are traveling.
No need to cook or drive anywhere for a meal when you have Sheffields, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's located in a casual log-cabin style room and is open June 1-Oct. 1, 2017. No reservations are accepted, so if you don't get there before the other diners, sit down at the bar and have a cold drink. At dinner, order the most popular dish on the menu—the bison and elk meatloaf.
Walk to hiking trails and the beautiful Snake River from your cabin, and feel good about being a steward of the environment. If you participate in the lodge's Sustainable Stay Program, you'll receive a $5 discount per night of your stay for passing up daily room cleaning service (minimum of a two-night stay required). In addition, the lodge will donate $1 per night of your stay to a foundation preserving the nearby national parks.
Fall asleep to the sounds of the Snake River at the campground that has tented and RV sites, along with "Camper Cabins." The campground is equipped with showers and laundry facilities. Make advanced reservations for the RV sites and "Camper Cabins."
