Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch at Yellowstone’s South Entrance
Just minutes from the South Entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the northern section of Grand Teton National Park, stay at the Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch.
As you drive on the John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Memorial Parkway toward Yellowstone National Park, you’ll find the Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch. It’s just two miles from Yellowstone’s South Entrance, giving you great access to the world’s first national park. With limited Wi-Fi and cell phone service and plentiful activities like horseback riding, hiking, fishing and engaging interpretive programs, the lodge is a wonderful place to truly disconnect from the world and reconnect with whomever you are traveling.
Sheffields Restaurant & Saloon
No need to cook or drive anywhere for a meal when you have Sheffields Restaurant & Saloon serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s located in a casual log-cabin style room and is open June through early October. No reservations are accepted, so if you don’t get there before the other diners, sit down at the bar and enjoy a local brew or a Caldera Margarita, a spicy strawberry margarita that’s a house specialty. At dinner, order the most popular dish on the menu—the bison and elk meatloaf.
Activities

Enjoy on-site activities, such as horseback riding, hiking and fly-fishing on the Snake River. Join the lodge’s interpretive specialist for guided hikes and engaging programs on park wildlife, geology and more. A fun excursion is to Huckleberry Hot Springs. Find the weekly schedule by the main lodge fireplace. And in nearby Grand Teton National Park, you can do scenic rafting outings, endless hiking and park tours.
Headwaters Cabins
Stay in a standard, deluxe or premium cabin equipped with private bathrooms and a front porch with rocking chairs to take in the views. The premium cabins have two private entrances, which makes it perfect to share with friends. Leave your car behind and walk to hiking trails and the beautiful Snake River from your cabin.
Campground/RV

Fall asleep to the sounds of the Snake River at the campground that has tent and RV sites, along with “Camper Cabins.” The campground is equipped with showers and laundry facilities. Reservations for the 2022 season are available on Recreation.gov.
