Originally Buffalo Bill's hunting lodge, the Pahaska Tepee Resort is the closest lodging to the park's East Entrance at only 2 miles.
From the East Entrance, the closest town is Cody, 58 miles farther to the east. Avoid long drives and enjoy convenient access to Yellowstone by staying at this historic resort. It was dubbed with Buffalo Bill's Lakota name, Pahaska (longhair) when he opened the lodge to park visitors in 1905.
